Conditions of Sale:

Clients must be 18 years or older to commission a fursuit from me. 

 

A clear reference image of the character with front and back views and flat colors is required. All characters must belong to the client. I will not accept AI-generated images or references. If the client does not have a fursuit reference, I can create concept art for $100 that will be deducted from the costume’s final cost. I will not create suits of copyrighted characters. 

 

Payment:

All payments are through a Square invoice. The client is responsible for the 3% credit card processing fee imposed by Square. All quotes and payments are in USD. Tracked shipping is included for all domestic packages within the US where applicable. International clients are responsible for currency conversion fees, if applicable, and any import/customs fees applied by their country when shipping.

 

A 50% down payment is required within 72 hours of the commission being accepted. The down payment will be used to purchase commission materials. Full payment must be made within 60 days of the down payment. Production will begin once the project is paid. Materials will be purchased after client approval. Rush orders are available for an additional fee and are required to be paid in full. I do not work with deadlines unless a rush fee is paid. 

 

Cancellations and Refunds:

If a commission is canceled by the client prior to construction, 30% of the cost is non-refundable. This is to cover time and material costs. Partial refund requests may be distributed depending on the costume’s completion. No refunds are allowed for completed or mostly complete works. I reserve the right to cancel and refund clients where applicable. If an unexpected event occurs that impacts my productivity (i.e., a family emergency or illness), I will notify the client as soon as possible and provide refund options based on the level of commission completion.

Shipping:

Shipping is not included with the quoted price. Shipping will be calculated and charged separately once the fursuit is complete and packaged. I ship via UPS and require full-coverage shipping insurance. Costs vary based on package weight, distance, and delivery speed. Clients will have the option of choosing faster shipping times for an extra fee. Domestic shipping can cost anywhere between $75-150. I will provide tracking info to the client. Airtags/Tile trackers can be added to the package for an extra fee. 

 

Once the package is shipped, I am not responsible for any loss or damage caused by the shipping carrier. In the event of a lost or damaged package, please contact me immediately and photograph all damage so I can file an insurance claim. 

 

International shipments will be marked at their full value. The client is responsible for all customs fees, VAT, duties, import taxes, and brokerage fees.

 

Repairs and Warranty:

All fursuits come with a 6-month warranty based on package arrival. This covers major issues such as holes and fit issues. Photo documentation will be required for any warranty claims. Repairs covered under warranty are free, but shipping is not. The client must pay for shipment to and from the studio. The client must contact me before shipping the product. 

 

The warranty does NOT include damage due to poor costume care, negligence, accidents, or intentional abuse; damage caused by the shipping carrier; fitting issues due to a change in the client’s proportions or incorrectly given measurements; normal wear and tear; or aesthetic changes such as modifying the character’s markings. I reserve the right to refuse repairs to a costume whose damages fall outside my warranty. Repairs outside the warranty or after the warranty has expired may be offered at the artist’s discretion, but at an additional fee. 

 

This is a handmade item. Minor imperfections are to be expected. The client acknowledges this fact. This may include small flaws such as color matching asymmetry, trimming length, stitch visibility, seam placement, or marking alignment. These are not covered by the warranty.  

 

Clients must thoroughly clean the costume before sending it for repairs. Failure to properly clean the suit may result in the package being sent back without any repairs. 

 

Modifications, alterations, or repairs done to the costume by someone other than Cheer Creativity will void the warranty. The warranty is only valid for the client who originally purchased/commissioned the costume and is void if the costume is resold.

 

Progress Updates and Communication:

I will send progress photos to the client for approval before continuing forward. Revisions are allowed within reason, and I will do my best to remedy any mistakes and implement feedback. Clients are expected to communicate within a reasonable time frame. Slow communication will hinder production times. If the client spots any errors, it is crucial to point them out as soon as possible. I will communicate via Telegram (preferred), Discord, Instagram, or email. I may post progress photos to my Telegram channel and social media accounts unless specified otherwise beforehand. If the client posts my commission work, they must credit me.

 

Liability Disclaimer:

Wearing and using a fursuit involves inherent risks. Including but not limited to: overheating, dehydration, reduced vision and hearing, reduced mobility, tripping/falling, collisions with objects or people, and allergic reactions to materials. Client acknowledges and voluntarily assumes responsibility for all risks associated with wearing, handling, transporting, or performing in the suit.

 

Allergy notice: My studio space may be exposed to dog hair. If the client has a dog allergy, please consider this before commissioning.
